Garden Holders
This series of mini incense holders was an experiment with the fluidity of underglazes and forms to compliment it. Think pastel hues in the backyard garden that can only dream of being a Dutch tulip field.
This one's for those looking for a small pop of innocent color in your otherwise neutral/Japandi home.

Which Garden Holder for what incense?
a) Recommended for incense with bamboo sticks only and in upright incense placement.
The dish: Has a tiny dish that collects minimal ashes.
The dish 2.0: Dish 2.0 is the dish who went to Korea and came back with some textured carvings and a fuller cheek.
The palm: Asymmetrical dish that fits snug in your palm. This one has more surface area to collect more ashes.
The loop: Aesthetic piece with a “torn edge” look. Can be placed on a dish for ash collecting!
b) Recommended for incense without bamboo sticks
The puddle: Holder has a through hole and very shallow in depth. Great to maximise burn time and minimise waste on Japanese style incense sticks.
*To take note: There are different types of incense holders.
Check which ones best fit the incense you have.
Incense types:
*Indian incense: with bamboo stick
*Japanese incense: No bamboo stick
